Accelerated Master’s Programs in English

Undergraduate students enrolled in an AMP can earn up to 9 credits toward their M.A. degree by taking up to three regular 500-level courses while enrolled as undergrads. Those courses double-count toward the B.A. and the M.A. with a grade of B or better, shortening the time to complete an M.A. degree by at least one semester for most students. Students of other majors may also be eligible to apply.

Our AMP program specializations include:

  • English Education
  • Literature
  • TEFL/TESL
  • Writing, Rhetoric, & Social Change
