This May, University Distinguished Professor Camille Dungy was chosen to deliver the commencement address for Western Colorado University, and was awarded an honorary degree by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Congrats, Professor Dungy!
The Department of English is proud to celebrate three English majors who were selected as 2024 Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity (CURC) Showcase winners: Izabelle Hood, Ali Niaz, and Alex Mccraw.
Across the board, English undergraduates and graduates hold a total of 183 University and departmental scholarships and 6 literary awards for the 24-25 academic year. In addition, the English Department selected 16 winners of the Creative and Performing Arts Awards.
