I graduated with a B.A. in English in 1956 and an M.A. in English in 1961. My philosophy mentor and life coach was Dr. Willard O. Eddy. The journalism classes taught by Loy Banks, and my editorship of the Collegian with my husband Floyd led me to a life filled with writing, four years in Egypt teaching and writing, international travel, and directing an English program in Colorado. I am co-founder of Spring International Language Center (SILC), intensive English programs in Colorado and Arkansas, and Director Emerita of SILC in Littleton, which just celebrated its 40th anniversary. I recently published two books: Taste the Sweetness Later: Two Muslim Women in America and The Good Daughter: Secrets, Life Stories and Healing.
