After 13 wonderful years, the Department of English says goodbye to Senior Instructor Nancy Henke. Henke came to CSU in 2008 as a graduate student and graduate teaching assistant (GTA). After earning her MA in Literature, Henke stayed on as full-time faculty in the Department of English. Over the course of her career at CSU, Henke has taught both composition (CO150 and CO150 online) and literature (E140, E238, E245, E270, E277). She has also served as the Director of Composition Placement and worked to collaborate on curriculum development for first-year composition. Henke has also returned to the GTA world as a leader in CSU’s professional development for English GTAs. When she’s not teaching, Henke is also an avid runner and painter.

Henke will be leaving CSU to return to the graduate student life by pursuing her MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) from the University of Iowa. The Department of English will certainly miss Nancy, but we wish her all the best on this new and exciting chapter in her life!
