The Department of English at Colorado State University invites applications for an entry-level position of Assistant Professor of English specializing in 20th and 21st Century Literature. We are seeking a scholar and teacher working in any field of 20th and 21st century literature with a focus on one or more of the following areas: the environment, ecology, the anthropocene, environmental justice, bioregionalism, or animal studies. Candidates should be able to contribute both to the intellectual life of the department and to participate in and envision interdisciplinary initiatives across campus. The successful candidate will be appointed untenured and at the rank of Assistant Professor. This is a tenure-track, nine-month appointment, beginning August 16, 2017.
