The grand re-opening of Eddy Hall was a wonderful event, with opening remarks before the ribbon cutting given by CLA Project Manager Bruce Ronda, faculty member Christina Sutton, CLA Dean Ann Gill, and President Tony Frank. The event was attended by faculty and staff and friends, as well as English department emeritus/emerita faculty and Willard O. Eddy’s daughter Sandra. There was even a band! A special thanks to Stephanie G’Schwind (Director, Center for Literary Publishing) and the new English department camera for the great pictures, which you can see on our Facebook page. Communications Coordinator Jill Salahub also videotaped the speeches and the ribbon cutting for you, (and apologizes for her unsteady hand and the windy day).
