We’re blogging!
Introducing the English Department’s Blog: http://englishcsu.wordpress.com/
In order to tell the ongoing story of the English Department, we’ve started a blog. Communications Coordinator Jill Salahub, and Interns Brianna Wilkins and Evelyn Vaughn have been busy behind the scenes this semester attending events, interviewing faculty and alumni, and creating content. The blog will, as Department Chair Louann Reid suggests in her first “Notes from the Chair” post, “showcase the people, programs, and publications that are the life and shape of our vibrant and diverse department.”
With this official launch, you will find a welcome message from the Department Chair, as well as posts about the Humans of Eddy project, the Reading Series, the “Literacies of Contemporary Civic Life” speaker series, the recent grant awarded to the Center for Literary Publishing, and an introduction to our Communications Interns.
We hope you’ll come soon and visit often, that you’ll sign up to follow us and leave comments, and that as Louann Reid says, “this blog will become a virtual community of readers, writers, and thinkers who are passionate about all that English studies offers.”
