Her creative nonfiction credits include Alligator Juniper, Fourth Genre, The Missouri Review, Calyx, The Iowa Review, Western Humanities Review, The Florida Review, and Creative Nonfiction. She is the winner of the 2008 Missouri Review Editor s Prize in the creative nonfiction category and the 2009 Iowa Review Editor s Prize, nonfiction division. She was recently awarded a Pushcart Prize.
