Bel Mercado is a writer and graduate student pursuing an MFA in Creative Nonfiction here at Colorado State University. Although she moved very frequently growing up, from Alaska to Germany to Virginia and beyond, she's proud to call Fort Collins her home now. She holds two undergraduate degrees in English & Creative Writing and Secondary English Education and hopes to teach creative writing after graduation. She loves horror movies, hiking, and experimental essays.
