Creative Writing Reading Series Welcomes Prageeta Sharma
Prageeta Sharma is the recipient of the 2010 Howard Foundation Award, and author of the poetry collections Bliss to Fill; The Opening Question, winner of the 2004 Fence Modern Poets Prize; Infamous Landscapes; and Undergloom. Her new volume, Grief Sequence, was published in 2019 by Wave Books.
Sharma is the Founder of the conference Thinking Its Presence: Race, Creative Writing, Literary Studies and Art.
She is the Henry G. Lee ’37 Professor of English at Pomona College.
About the Series
The Creative Writing Reading Series, held by the Department of English at Colorado State University, welcomes major writers to read their work, hold question and answer sessions, and participate in student and university community engagement.
