You may know Nixon for his acclaimed and influential book, Slow Violence and the Environmentalism of the Poor (Harvard UP 2013), but he has also published in a range of outlets including The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, and the London Review of Books. He currently serves as the Currie C. and Thomas A. Barron Family Professor in the Humanities and the Environment at Princeton University.
