TESL/TEFL Scholarship

History:

This scholarship is given to an outstanding student in the TESL/TEFL graduate program. Funded by INTO CSU English Language Programs.

Criteria:

  • Admitted to the TESL/TEFL graduate program
  • 3.25 undergraduate GPA
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • 2 years TESL/TEFL teaching experience

Cross Cultural Understanding Scholarship

History:

This scholarship is made possible by CSU INTO English Language Program faculty, staff, alumni and friends who recognize the importance of scholarships in encouraging students to aim for excellence. The generous gifts from individual members of these various groups allow us to provide financial support for students who have demonstrated superior achievements or skills, thereby encouraging their continued efforts and the overall atmosphere of vigorous research and creativity.

Criteria:

Graduate Students:

  • 15 credits prior to receiving the award (at least two semesters remaining)
  • GPA of at least 3.25
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Demonstrated commitment to international/cross-cultural issues and education

Undergraduate Students

  • 60 completed prior to receiving the award (2 semesters remaining)
  • GPA of at least 3.0
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Demonstrated commitment to international/cross-cultural issues and education
