A graduate from the University of Maryland Eastern (2022), Ferguson started his teaching experience as a writing center consultant (2018) for all four years as an undergraduate. He created films and an audiobook as an independent film director and author.

Ferguson taught for two years at Carrollton Elementary School; the school he graduated from in 2011. He currently loves his time teaching at Colorado State!
