Emily Pérez is the author of the chapbook Backyard Migration Route (2011) and the full-length collection House of Sugar, House of Stone (2016). Pérez has received grants and scholarships from the Artist Trust, Jack Straw Writers, Bread Loaf Writers’ Workshop, Summer Literary Seminars, and Inprint, Houston. A former CantoMundo fellow, she is a member of the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley. She lives and teaches in Denver, Colorado.

Lauren Haldeman is the author of the poetry collections Instead of Dying (winner of the 2017 Colorado Prize for Poetry, Center for Literary Publishing) and Calenday (Rescue Press, 2014, finalist for the 2014 Julie Suk Award), and of the artist book The Eccentricity is Zero (Digraph Press, 2014). A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she was a recipient of the 2015 Sustainable Arts Foundation Award.
