“Working in the World of Publishing”

The Department of English and College of Liberal Arts are hosting an event featuring a panel of successful, local professionals in the publishing world. Six panelists will lead a lively conversation for students who wish to learn more about working in the world of publishing.

This event will feature the following panelists:

pile-of-books Debbie Blair: Managing Editor of Jewelry Stringing magazine and related special interest publications at  Interweave/F+W Media.

Stephanie G’Schwind: Director for CSU’s Center for Literary Publishing and Editor for the Colorado Review and the Colorado Prize for Poetry.

Charles J. Malone: Editor at Wolverine Farm Publishing for The Matterhorn, Matter Journal and A Poetic Inventory of Rocky Mountain National Park, Adjunct Faculty at University of Northern   Colorado  and Front Range Community College.

Cara McDonald: Editor and Co-founder of Fort Collins Magazine and Breckenridge Magazine.

Karla Oceanak: Children’s Author and Publisher for Bailiwick Press.

Todd Simmons: Publisher, Wolverine Farm Publishing
