Elle Holtermann

Elle Holtermann is an M.F.A. candidate in Creative Nonfiction at Colorado State University. She holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Franklin & Marshall College, where she wrote an honors thesis exploring the male gaze. Her writing and academic interests include creative nonfiction, poetry, girlhood, family, memory, and the ways our relationships shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. As a teacher, she is especially interested in helping students develop confidence in their writing, discover their unique voices, and see writing as a way of thinking, answering questions we have, and connecting with others.
