EGSA
The English Grad Student Association is a student-led group within the English department. We welcome all English grad students to join us for monthly meetings where we talk about events, community, academics, and support. We also have free food! One of the goals of the EGSA is to provide a cross-departmental space for English grads of every focus to come together and support one another through the adventure of grad school.

Mission & Leadership

Mission
Our mission is to represent and promote the interests of the English graduate student body in the department, college, and university. We believe that the graduate student body needs a means of presenting a shared voice to the department, college, and university, and an organized forum for the development of that shared voice and communicating with one another.
Leadership
EGSA is led by co-chairs, with an unofficial "council" structure that allows for individuals or pairs to have EGSA support for special interests and events. Our current 2024-2025 co-chairs are Yanni Angelis and Danny Saldana. Our future 2025-2026 co-chairs are Autumn Koors-Foltz and Bel Mercado.
