Todos Santos Study Abroad: Informational Session
Calling all English majors and minors! Spend your Fall 2021 semester in Todos Santos, Mexico in this unique Liberal Arts & Community Engagement program designed with you in mind. Earn 15 CSU credits taught by CSU faculty while having the opportunity to work with and learn from the local community, faculty, and students from Baja California Sur. You’ll take coursework online from August 23-October 15 and then head to Todos Santos, Mexico on October 20 and stay through December 18, 2021.
Faculty from the Departments of English, History, Journalism and Media Communication, and International Studies will lead your online and on-site course experiences with culture, customs, and history as we learn with the local community. The English course, E306a Writing Stories of Community in Mexico, will consider ethics, power, and representation in storytelling as we engage with people in Todos Santos and write about our experiences with social, built, and natural local environments.
We have designed this program to be inclusive and accessible. In additional to CSU and national scholarship opportunities, we have a special department scholarship available for English majors and minors who study abroad. Learn more here.
