Description: What can community engagement look like for language:Dr. Frederique Grim will demonstratethat through service-learning,learners of an L2 can be impacted in several ways: language acquisition, stronger self-esteem, self-appropriation, résumé building and career directions. This presentation will share some examples of local community service projects that have facilitated L2 use and affected students in different capacities.
