Ms. Thomas is an Instructor in Upper Division Composition on a Senior Teaching appointment. She regularly teaches CO300 (Writing Arguments) and CO301A (Writing in the Disciplines--Arts and Humanities). Her professional interests include writing for social action, writing across the curriculum, faculty and curriculum development, and action research. Ms. Thomas has been active in faculty governance, representing the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) on the Faculty Council Committee on Non-Tenure Track Faculty and on the CLA Adjunct Faculty Committee in the recent past. She is the 2008 recipient of the College of Liberal Arts Excellence in Teaching Award for Special & Temporary Faculty.
