Hello! I have taught CO130, CO150, and CO300 at Colorado State University. Additionally, I have assisted with training and mentoring Graduate Teaching Assistants. Here's a bit more about my professional background and interests:

  • M.A. from Colorado State University, Department of English (concentration in Rhetoric & Composition); B.A. from Ferris State University, Department of English (concentration in English Literature)
  • Interests: teacher collaboration in higher education, interpersonal theory as it relates to organizational communication, labor issues in higher education, first-year student extracurricular writing groups, correlations between personal writing and identity formation, and multimodal curricula design
  • Experience teaching at a 2-year college, online courses, and is a current full-time instructor at CSU
  • Author of The Digital Handbook for New Full and Part-Time Faculty, Snow College, 2011
  • Received Graduate Teaching Certificate, TILT, 2010
  • Presented at Conference of College Composition and Communication, 2009
  • Taught as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University from 2008-2010

  • In addition to teaching, enjoys trailrunning, backpacking, going to coffee shops, walking her Bernese Mtn. dog, reading (classics, philosophy, memoirs, textbooks...you name it), and playing piano.
