Biography

B.S., Forest Management Sciences, Colorado State University; M.A., English, Colorado State University; Ph.D., Fiction Writing, University of Denver.

 

Dr. Robinson currently teaches composition, literature, and American studies courses. He has published short stories, poems, and essays as well as scholarly work on Alice Walker, Ken Kesey, John Del Vecchio, Jack Kerouac, Tim O'Brien, Norman Maclean, and Ernest Hemingway in numerous literary journals, reviews, and magazines. His first novel, After the Fire, was published by Lyons Press in 2003 and will be re-released as a paperback by Skyhorse Press in October 2015; his noir-novella, The Shadow of Violence, won the 2009 Clay Reynolds Novella Award and was published in 2010 by Texas Review Press. In June 2015, Arcade Press published his third novel, Death of a Century: A Novel of the Lost Generation.
